Who is Big Air?

Big Air is made up of some pretty neat people. Let us introduce a few.


 Gregg Briggs – Founder & CEO

Greg has spent the last 30 years leading the waterpark and family entertainment park industry. Prior to building Big Air, Greg served as the Vice President of Wild Rivers Waterpark in Irvine, California. He has also served as the Vice President of the World Waterpark Association (WWA) where he was responsible for developing operating policy and managing public relations. In 1998, Greg was inducted into the World Waterpark Association Hall of Fame for his contributions to the industry. 

Greg’s attention to detail and wealth of operational experience is largely responsible for Big Air’s exceptional reputation industry-wide.


Kevin Odekirk – President

Kevin joins Big Air with the ability and first-hand experience required to build a thriving franchise system. 

Kevin is a dynamic leader with demonstrated executive level success guiding Fortune 500 companies throughout the US. From Marketing and Comms  Strategy, to Education, to Sales Management and Operations, Kevin has driven bottom-line growth for well-known brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Max Muscle Sports Nutrition, and EMI/Capital Records. Building from a unique background as a performer in Les Miserables on Broadway and touring with such stars as the famed Julie Andrews, he enjoys not only the ability to strategically plan for growth, but to communicate that vision in an engaging fashion that is second to none.


Danny Rasmussen – VP Business Dev

After graduating from BYU in 2012, Danny came on-board and designed and implemented Big Air’s marketing system from the ground-up. His passion for design, web development and online marketing has helped shape us into the industry-leaders we are today. Danny is now playing an integral role in the development of Big Air Franchising’s mass communication and branding strategy.

Dave Simon – Operations

With nearly 30 years of amusement park experience, Dave brings to our team the operational know-how to get things done. As an Operations leader with Disneyland, Wild Rivers, and Raging Waters, Dave has proven his ability to both turn around struggling parks, and further bolster those already achieving success. 

Dave was the driving force behind some of the entertainment industries greatest turnarounds. As Vice President of Operations for Amusement Aquatic Management Group, a consulting and management company for parks across the US, he successful altered the course of grew 12 of the countries largest and most well-known properties. 

Dave shares with us his renown expertise in financial, marketing, and strategic disciplines.


Evan Gentry – Finance Consultant

Evan serves as the CEO of G8 Capital and as managing director of G8 Holdings’ portfolio investments. Prior to G8 Capital, Evan co-founded MoneyLine Lending Services in 1996 and served as its president and CEO through mid-2007. Evan also served as CEO and chairman of First Premier Escrow, a MoneyLine subsidiary. 

Evan oversaw the dramatic growth of the business, which eventually included 50 bank clients nationwide, and was responsible for raising multiple rounds of private and institutional equity capital and debt financing.

In addition to being a licensed real estate broker with the California Department of Real Estate since 1997, Evan has held mortgage and/or real estate broker licenses in more than 20 states. Evan graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University.


Joshua Hunter – Construction Consultant

Joshua co-founded Genova Capital to raise private equity for real estate development and other related investment opportunities. In addition to his role as CEO of Genova Capital, Joshua was a principal of Danberg Development, Inc. for more than ten years where he oversaw the development, construction, and property management for Danberg’s diverse properties.

Joshua has also successfully negotiated the acquisition and raising of private equity for several developments throughout Southern California, Nevada and Utah. With more than 15 years of experience, Joshua has been personally involved in more than $475 million in construction, development and equity placement. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has a B.A. in Construction Management.
